Cheryl A. Haynes earned her B.S. from Vassar College and her J.D. from Howard University School of Law, and was admitted to the Ohio bar in 1987. Her early practice included judicial clerkships, administrative law, probate work, and criminal defense.
In 2007, she turned her focus to consumer protection litigation — representing individuals against national debt collectors, used-car dealers, finance companies, and creditors engaged in deceptive or abusive practices.
